Instructions
To obtain a
broadcast:
-
In
the list of shows above, click on the hour you want to
download.
-
An
MP3 sound file will be downloaded to your computer. If you are running
Windows, the file most likely will be stored in your "Temporary
Internet Files" folder.
-
If
you have associated a particular software program with MP3 files, that program
probably will open automatically and begin playing the show. If it doesn't,
open whatever program you use to play sound files. (If you don't have
such a program, .click
here to obtain RealPlayer free of charge. At the Real page, click on Free
RealOne Player in the middle of the page; the Player will be
downloaded to your computer automatically.)
-
After listening
to the audio file, you can delete it. Or you can move it to another folder
— where it will be available to hear again later.
-
If you want to save the
file to a particular place on your disk, right-click on the
show designation above, and choose "Save target as..." or "Save file
as..." You can then designate where on your hard disk you want the
file to be stored.
If you click on a program in the center column, the show
won't be downloaded to your computer. Instead, it will start up almost
immediately and play in a "streaming" format. In
other words, the file isn't saved to your disk, it is played directly from
the Internet. If you prefer to save the
file to your hard disk, right-click on the file and choose
"Save target as..." or "Save file as..." You then can
choose where to keep the file on your hard disk.
If you have any problems or an unusual experience with
these files, please let us
know. Although we can't provide a personal reply, we will do
whatever we can to correct any problems.
